    I still think it will be McDonagh, he didn't win for Three Billboards and Banshees has done even better, though it missed a Cinematography nod. But I see a world where Berger wins this.

    The last time the winner here didn't win either DGA or the Globe was Greengrass in 2006. Since Spielberg was snubbed, probably whoever wins the DGA.
