They finally heard the Women Talking!
Voted for EEAAO (hopedicting) but it seems like most people predict Banshees.
Seeing James Hong on stage will be so lovely![]()

Hard to see how EEAAO loses this honestly. 5 nominations, diverse cast, top 3 contender etc... Even if it fails on the preferential ballot it should win here. Banshees has a 5% chance of an upset if it's really winning BP (which I doubt)
Women Talking could win this. It’s such an ensemble film that it’s so easy to vote for.
It's obviously EEAAO vs. Banshees, and I'm actually feeling the latter will win this. EEAAO is likely winning two awards already, whereas Banshees (which got 4 actors nominated as well) may not win any of them, so if voters are going for Butler/Bassett, they may want to check-off Banshees, likely having voted for Yeoh and Quan already.

EEAAO has a Lead Actress contender, no Lead Actor, a Supporting Actor frontrunner, and two Supporting Actress contenders.
Banshees is the inverse: Lead Actor contender, no Lead Actress, Supporting Actress contender, and two Supporting Actor contenders.
It's really a toss-up, IMO. EEAAO may have the slight edge because they're playing a family (save Curtis).

EEAAO.
I'm going with EEAAO with Banshees as the spoiler.
I'm baffled some thing this is even a race. Even if EEAO didn't have the most diverse cast. Even if EEAO didn't have the family cast angle that helped Parasite. Even if EEAO wasn't the BP frontrunner. It still has comfortably the best audience ratings/is the most widely seen film here. I don't think this is remotely close. It's almost as locked as Quan's win.
