Wanted to vote Dench, but I cannot pass this opportunity to vote for JLH somewhere. She's truly great, and I hate that some see her as a Felicia.

Also she has an Emmy-worthy performance in 9-1-1!

There exists an alternate universe where Temple Grandin was released theatrically and Claire Danes would have been in the hunt for the Oscar. As good as Portman was in Black Swan, she did benefit from a race that lacked the pure bait that this by-the-numbers biopic would have brought. I'm always curious about how that race would have progressed if it was eligible for Oscars instead of Emmys.

We know you love some Jamie Lee, Dame. But it's JLH as the runner-up.

This is also true for Grey Gardens where Drew and Jessica would have been easy Actress and Supporting Actress nominees, if not winners in the case of Drew.

Not necessarily. I bring this up because Grey Gardens WAS set to get a theatrical release early on. And Drew especially was being predicted before it got moved to TV.
