    Film Poster Clash - Season 6: Round 7 - VOTE FOR SIX

    Welcome to
    Film Poster Clash

    THE POSTERS THIS ROUND

    Recollections of the Yellow House (1989)

    The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993)

    The Triplets of Belleville (2003)

    12 Years a Slave (2013)

    EO (2022)

    The Lodger (1927)

    The Hurricane (1937)

    Paris Frills (1945)

    This Island Earth (1955)

    One, Two, Three (1961)

    Breezy (1973)

    THE PLAYERS:

    @Bee
    @Blanche
    @CitizenKian
    @GeorgeEastman
    @Jeff Beachnau
    McTeague
    @Montreel
    @MrFilmkritik
    @Nora
    @Pingy
    @The Dark Poet

    RULES:
    1. Each player represents a decade and picks a poster that belongs to that decade.

    2. There will be 8 regular rounds without elimination, then one more rounds for the top 2-5 vote getters in total and finally a final for the top 2.

    3. You get as many points as you get votes, with the exception of the round winner who ALWAYS gets +3 points for winning the round (if there's a tie both gets +2)

    4. In all rounds you'll vote for 6(!) of the posters chosen, unless told otherwise.

    5. If there's a tie for places in the final, the highest average in the rounds will prevail. This will also be the tie-breaker in the final, if there's a tie: total points gotten in the game, and if there's still a tie, highest average in the rounds.

    6. All kind of posters are allowed, original versions, foreign versions, new versions, Criterion covers, fan made art etc but you must follow the rules (see below).

    7. You're only allowed to use one fan made poster, one Criterion Cover and you most use at least one foreign film and one foreign poster of an American film in any round of your choice.

    8. You're allowed to use the same film as someone from the previous season, but NOT the same exact poster.

    9. If you vote WRONGLY, you have the time of the poll to correct it, only by making a public comment in the thread, tagging me. If you don't ask me to correct the vote, I won't ask you to, and I won't correct it, because I only check if votes are correct when the poll closes.

    10. Enjoy the game and vote from your heart!

    I laughed so hard when I received that PM. Genius. Best in the season, maybe in the entire game.

    Oh I’m 1920s! The honor goes entirely to genius @Jeff Beachnau

    the most beautiful woman and the most beautiful man in the world, she the female version of him, and he the male version of her

    It's a great choice and an easy vote, but I still think my final submission for the 2010s a few seasons ago was a worthy contender!

    I couldn't bring myself to vote for it since there were some actually great posters in the mix, but oh boy was the temptation there to vote for that classic 12 Years one.

    I screamed so loud as soon as I opened the 2010s one that I'm honestly considering voting for it now.

    This – I had never stopped and paid attention to it, actually, and didn't notice until now how great it is.

    Makes me even more ashamed that I haven't seen the film.

    I'm not gonna lie, if I could have given all my six votes for 12 Years a Slave, I would have done it. Easily series best submission

    Isn't this supposed to be an "odd number" round? Why is EO, a 2022 film, here? @McTeague

    Or do we make exceptions for the current decade (for obvious reasons)? Sorry i'm le confused.

    Yeah, because I'm working with only 3 years, George last season and McT this season let me play any films, especially since I exhausted most of my 2021 picks last time!

    12 Years A Slave is the greatest submission in this entire game. A game changer.
