Pretty sure that's gonna compete on TV side, isn't it going straight to Disney+?

The film won't have a feature film release, but maybe they can make an exception here (Doubtful, cause this year the competition looks strong on paper)

Also, for the musical film (Depends if "Carmen" releases this year or Wu has musical moments in "Lyle Lyle Crocodrile"):

At difference of the flops like "The Prom", "Matilda" is a recognizable stage musical hit. So Alisha Weir and/or Emma Thompson can enter in the list.

The prior list with some adjustements for C/M contenders. For supporting players being upgraded as leads in italics:

    ACTOR:

    -Christian Bale, AMSTERDAM
    -Antonio Banderas, OFFICIAL COMPETITION
    -Javier Bardem, LYLE LYLE CROCODRILE
    -Joel Kim Booster, FIRE ISLAND
    -Jim Broadbent, THE DUKE
-Sterling K. Brown, HONK FOR JESUS, SAVE YOUR SOUL
    -George Clooney, TICKET TO PARADISE
    -Steve Coogan, THE LOST KING
-Daniel Craig, GLASS ONION: A KNIVES OUT MYSTERY
    -Harris Dickinson, TRIANGLE OF SADNESS
    -Adam Driver, WHITE NOISE
    -Billy Eichner, BROS
-Zac Efron, THE GREATEST BEER RUN EVER
    -Ralph Fiennes, THE MENU
    -Paul Giamatti, THE HOLDOVERS
    -Daniel Gimenez Cacho, BARDO
-Tom Hanks, A MAN CALLED OTTO
-Chris Hemsworth, THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER
    -Nicholas Hoult, THE MENU
    -Daniel Kaluuya, NOPE
    -Oscar Martinez, OFFICIAL COMPETITION
-Daryl McCormack, GOOD LUCK TO YOU, LEO GRANDE
    -Paul Mescal, CARMEN
-Ke Huy Quan, EVERYTHING EVERYWHERE ALL AT ONCE
-Cooper Raiff, CHA CHA REAL SMOOTH
    -Sam Rockwell, HOW THEY RUN
    -Channing Tatum, THE LOST CITY

    ACTRESS:

    -Melissa Barrera, CARMEN
    -Sandra Bullock, THE LOST CITY
    -Penelope Cruz, OFFICIAL COMPETITION
    -Charlbi Dean, TRIANGLE OF SADNESS
    -Greta Gerwig, WHITE NOISE
-Regina Hall, HONK FOR JESUS, SAVE YOUR SOUL
    -Sally Hawkins, THE LOST KING
-Kate Hudson, GLASS ONION: A KNIVES OUT MYSTERY
-Allison Janney, THE PEOPLE WHO HATE AT THE WEDDING
-Dakota Johnson, CHA CHA REAL SMOOTH
    -Valerie Lemercier, ALINE
-Lesley Manville, MRS. HARRIS GOES TO PARIS
-Janelle Monae, GLASS ONION: A KNIVES OUT MYSTERY
    -Keke Palmer, NOPE
    -Margot Robbie, AMSTERDAM
    -Julia Roberts, TICKET TO PARADISE
-Saoirse Ronan, SEE HOW THEY RUN
    -Griselda Siciliani, BARDO
    -Anya Taylor-Joy, THE MENU
-Emma Thompson, GOOD LUCK TO YOU, LEO GRANDE
    -Emma Thompson, MATILDA
-Mariana Treviño, A MAN CALLED OTTO

    -Alisha Weir, MATILDA
    -Constance Wu, LYLE LYLE CROCODILE
-Michelle Yeoh, EVERYTHING EVERYWHERE ALL AT ONCE

I guess one of Netflix names if not both (Bardo and/or White Noise) will go to Drama, but so far these films had been promoted as dark comedies.

Nope is less of a comedy that Peele's previous two movies IMHO. Keke is the comedic relief, but not enough for me to think the film should be submitted in C/M

Nope will not be competing for anything this awards season, so they will surely push Keke here, and I do think she's going to make it. Good for her. a combination of Bullock, Hudson/Monaé, Taylor-Joy, Yeoh and Thompson (Good Luck to You, Leo Grande) seem like a solid bet.

Lemercier could get a surprise mention as well.

This is 100% not happening when Aline was a no1curr flop with bad reviews in the US.

Aline is 53 on Metacritic. Polarizing perhaps, but it had defenders.

Yes, but unlike with those films, the strategy for Hulu releases is quite clear at this point. Only Emmy campaigns for them.
