    Nah, Fraser is widely liked and yes heís considered a vet in the industry. I donít think Eddie is good comparison considering how well Theory of Everything did that year with multiple above the line noms.

    I like Butler and Iím rooting for him but until he starts steamrolling I think itís tough to see him winning next year. Especially if young actors like Diego start popping up as contenders.

    I just want Colin Farrell to get in. Banshees of Inisherin should/could be a borderline nom, will probably get in for screenplay at least. C'mon, you can do it

    I guess Searchlight have no other Best Actor contender this year really (sounds like Empire of Light is the Olivia show only) so they might as well try, but if he's overshadowed by other people in the cast then they're outta luck.
