These are the episodes to have won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series in the 2010s. An interesting lot, with a surprising amount of film directors moving to television.

Decided to go with the biggest logistical effort! Just the huge epic Battle of the Bastards!
I mean Mad Men wasn’t the showiest drama, but I wish it had at least won once. Maybe for Season 5, “The Other Woman.”
What a sad bunch of winners.
I have to say it's cool though that all choices here have received a vote at the least.
The Holy Trinity:
Satyajit, Sharmila, and Soumitra
Top three:
Game of Thrones - Battle of the Bastards
True Detective - Who Goes There
Boardwalk Empire - To the Lost
still cannot believe breaking bad never won here. though the final season had the misfortune of going up against david fincher and then true detective (which was a very good win in its own right)
Really hard choice between Battle of the Bastards and Who Goes There for me, but I'll pick the former.
