This will be the last iteration of this thread series because I will be handling the #AWEmmys/INOCA TV Awards.

Thank y'all for participating in all 32 years. I had fun hosting this poll series!

    What??

Does someone else want to continue it?

Anyway, Sinead was robbed for AOTY for her masterpiece.

I can handle Beauty beating Achtung, but Mermaid beating Sinead as well ... ?

That album is one of the best of the decade as well. Do yourself a favour and listen to it if you are unfamiliar. Breathtakingly gorgeous and heartbreaking. AW would have been ALL over that album if it had existed back then. I'm hoping the taste will jump out in the votes, but I'm not sure it will.

Maybe I'll throw a vote to Living Colour.

@klariso are you planning on coming back to this series after doing the TV awards?

If not, as I said above, I'd like this to continue--how far back would depend on the variety of the categories awarded pre-1980s, let's say.

I haven't run a poll series before but would do it if no one else wants to.

Hi @lazarus! Go for it! By the time the TV awards will end, I think I'll be hosting the Canon so you can continue this poll series the moment this poll expires!

I appreciate you taking over. Thank you! And ofc I'll participate in those.

    Thanks!

I'm not sure I'll be able to do your fancy album cover grid as I don't have Photoshop but I'll try to do the format justice.
