Yeah, I think Brunson is pretty much locked as well.

Is it? It’s still a huge hit for Amazon, Midge/Lenny ships edits remain as popular as ever and it’s not like anything about its S3 Emmy or guild performance (1 years later due to the shortened Oscar season) has given us reason to think otherwise.

I’ll be more than happy to eat crow if the cracks do start to slip on July 12.

She absolutely isn't when we don't have any conrete proof that industry has taken the liking to the show yet. TCA is not industry.

This is incredibly random but I’d love an interview with Rachel and Jean (similar to actors on actors) where they discuss what it’s like bringing these iconic fictional stands up to life.

    Final Predictions
    1. Jean Smart, Hacks
    2. Quinta Brunson, Abbott Elementary
    3. Kaley Cuoco, The Flight Attendant
    4. Rachel Brosnahan, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel
    5. Tracee Ellis Ross, black-ish
    6. Natasha Lyonne, Russian Doll

This category is wide open, I'm only confident in Smart (though I'm like 99% certain on Brunson too). Cuoco, Brosnahan, and Ross are all in the same boat where they should happen, but I just wouldn't be shocked if they got snubbed. The last slot is just such a tossup, I was stuck between Lyonne and Oh as a Netflix pick, but I'm gonna go with Lyonne since I trust Russian Doll as an Emmy player more than The Chair. Still think it can be Selena as well despite the precursor snubs.

100% confident in Smart, 90-95% confident in the Bro-Bru. Other 3 spots seem like 50/50 tossup's btwn Tomlin,Cuoco,Rae,Ellis Ross,Gomez and Oh

    1. Jean Smart
    2. Rachel Brosnahan
    3. Quinta Brunson
    4. Lily Tomlin
    5. Kaley Cuoco
    6. Sandra Oh

    ......
Selena Gomez -Snubbed in a few precursors but still seems like a 50/50 bet at Emmy
    Issa Rae
    Tracee Ellis Ross
    projects.

Less then 10% but not 0
Elle Fanning -The show keeps landing at SAG so some people in the industry are watching it. But if she missed for s1,not sure what sense it makes to predict her for s2 in such a crowded field
Pamela Adlon- Nominated in the past so it's not entirely impossible for her to get a return nom for the final season
Jane Fonda- Grace and Frankie does pretty well for Netflix and the shows reviews have always mostly been strong, it's not without possibility they give her a surprise sendoff nom
Rose McIver- She is on the most watched network tv sitcom that doesn't have the world Sheldon it it's title and the show is well loved by fans and get's great reviews.
Sarah Lancashire-One of the UK's most respected tv actors playing an Icon(Julia Childs) on HBO.
Natasha Lyonne- Russian Doll's 2nd season had a poor reception both in terms of actual viewership numbers and reviews. Not gonna rule her out completely cause sometimes when emmy likes someone they can't let go.

It is actually tied with Sheldon, so I guess it is fair to call it network's most watched sitcom.

    01. Jean Smart (The Predicted Winner)
    02. Quinta Brunson
    03. Rachel Brosnahan
    04. Kaley Cuoco
    05. Tracee Ellis Ross
    06. Issa Rae

Could see any of these sneak in: Adlon, Gomez, Lyonne or finally a nom for Robin Thede

It's always a good sign for Sandra Oh, when you don't predict her!

Brosnahan honestly feels very vulnerable to me. There's been a gradual decrease in the critical reception going from 85 MC for S2, 75 for S3 to 65 for S4, plus the consensus for the season is that there was little to no plot and character development. This honestly reminds me of what happened to The Handmaid's Take for S3, where both shows had huge breakout S1 in terms of awards, but THT S3 was rather lukewarm that Moss was a surprise snub and it only got Series Supporting Actor and Actress noms. I can see the same for Maisel where Series, Shalhoub and Borstein get in and that's it, maybe a Directing nom.

Ziwe is hosting a sketch show, not acting in a comedy series, hence she’s ineligible here.

In that case Brosnahan would get the final predicted spot

    2 Brunson
    3 Cuoco
    4 Brosnahan
    5 Ross
    6 Oh

Issa Rae is probably getting in though. But she's such a difficult prediction! I remember she was really competitive with her S4 nomination, some people were even entertaining the idea of her upsetting O'Hara in 2020. But then S5 came out and I didn't even realize/notice, buzz seems to have been so muted.
