A tough one. Martin Short was fantastic. However Kayvan Novak would be my pick for the episode where he has a crush on the gym receptionist alone.

Anthony Anderson and Don Cheadle have never missed so I won't bet against them.

    Anderson
    Cheadle
    Hader
    Martin
    Short
    Sudeikis

Donald Glover as alt, but he didn't do anything this season of Atlanta.

This feels like the hardest category to break into as an alt/outside contender, lots of powerhouse previous nominees and then the two Only Murders legends.

I don't see why Glover would happen this year. He did nothing. I think BTH and maybe Zazie will be the acting representation for Atlanta, plus maybe someone in guest.

Well, we have seen performances that did essentially nothing nominated (Cheadle in Guest Actor) and won Foy (in Guest Actress) so that's not really a minus against Glover Name recall will just be strong enough to get him nominated especially since he is on a top contender/likely series nominated show. I think last spot will be between Cheadle and Anderson, only one regular filler nod will make it

I've given up on Hoult and the WWDITS men ever happening.

The one that should be getting in for that sixth slot is Jake Johnson

Half the nominees will be dramedy performances so unless they get significantly more dramatic arcs I don’t think so.

It feels like there's a solid five here (Anderson/Hader/Martin/Short/Sudeikis) and the final spot is up in the air.

Cheadle makes sense, but it would be cool if they did something surprising. A nomination for a show that was canceled months ago doesn't really get me excited.

I picked Larry David, which doesn't fit the bill.

Donald Glover had nothing to do this season.

Here's hoping a WWDITS actor can make it somehow, however unlikely that feels.

    Final Predictions
    1. Jason Sudeikis, Ted Lasso
    2. Bill Hader, Barry
    3. Steve Martin, Only Murders in the Building
    4. Martin Short, Only Murders in the Building
    5. Anthony Anderson, black-ish
    6. Don Cheadle, Black Monday

The top four are locks, and I think Anderson is a damn near lock since he's gotten in every single season. Gotta go with Cheadle for the last slot, he just does not miss no matter how buzzless the show is. He's 2 for 2 on a show nobody watched, and got guest nominated last year for a 10 second cameo. When the other options are Glover in a borderline supporting role on a polarizing Atlanta season or Hoult, who got shockingly snubbed for a more buzzy S1 of The Great, I gotta just bet on Cheadle again.

    6.Cena

    ---
7.Glover -Doesn't have the material to support a nomination,on the other hand he could still get the votes from the daulity combo of lazy name checkers and people who liked this season of Atlanta voting for him as the EP

8.Cheadle- He was dropped for the final season of House Of Lies, something that was significantly more popular then Black Monday even if the later series is better.
9.Hoult-Would be worthy of a nom but The Great just doesn't seem to have caught on anywhere besides SAG
10.Larry David- Maybe he sneaks in cause their is juus a huge dropoff after the top 5
11.Jake Johnson- The guy is one of the most talented comedic actors to have never gotten any kind of industry recognition.Darkhorse for a surprise nom
    12. Rhy Darby-Similiar to JJ,has the reviews just a case whether enough emmy voters have seen his series.
