Lol the dropout isn’t safer than Maid. The overconfidence for it here is odd. Only Seyfried is safe.

How is it?
What MAID has over The Dropout:
1. Better critical reception
2. Much better audience scores
3. Much higher viewership
4. A stronger network behind it
5. The advantage of being the #1 priority for its network.
6. A major guild win if you wanna consider that
7. The benefit of not airing in the overcrowded spring
8. A subject matter that stands out in this crowd
And it's not like the other shows in contention like The Staircase etc aren't or can't be ahead as well. A show fighting for the bottom slots can hardly be considered safe over competition like that, if at all.
I predict The Maid, The Staircase, and The White Lotus will run the boards.
Supporting Actress will be a bloodbath.
Parker Posey 2022
Hammond seems to think it is a lock (over Maid). Though I don't know if he is your average Emmy voter.
We will have to wait and see. Some of these predictions on the forums do seem based on personal opinion (obviously), but we will see if the tv academy will feel the same way.

Final Predictions
1. Dopesick
2. The White Lotus
3. Maid
4. The Dropout
5. 1883
Dopesick and The White Lotus are the only two I'm considering locks in this category (and even then I'd be surprised if they got snubbed, but I wouldn't be totally blown away). After that, it's anyone guess. Maid is an easy third place, but I do have some worries unfortunately (not enough to not predict it). Then I'm going with The Dropout because it seemed to rise slightly above the noise of the rest of the Spring contenders that came out. Going with 1883 as a wildcard last pick (which is probably insane since I'm not predicting Yellowstone in drama lol). So many shows fighting for the last slot, I'm just gonna go with one that audiences and the older voters seem to love. I don't think The Staircase made enough noise, though it could still very easily get the last spot.
Final Predictions:
Dopesick (Hulu)
The Dropoout (Hulu)
Maid (Netflix)
The Staircase (HBO Max)
The White Lotus (HBO)
6th: Under the Banner of Heaven (FX on Hulu)
i missed the days when Limited Series was the most competitive
Inventing Anna probably happens here when The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey should actually sweep![]()

04. Maid
05. The Staircase
06. Under the Banner of Heaven
07. Station Eleven
08. Gaslit

I'm not brave enough to predict it, but checking the rating numbers on Rotten Tomatoes, Letterboxd and imdb, I wonder if we're really underestimating "The Offer"? Practically it has way better audience ratings than any other contender here. Even few days ago, it had 4.0 on Letterboxd.

Yikeeesss @ Maid
Dead at Maid bombing
And people thought Qualley would have the edge over Seyfried in lead actress because they assumed Maid was a lot stronger. Well!
What a chaotic category. Ouch at the Maid floppage. Shook at Pam + Tommy and (unfortunately) Inventing Anna making it.
Tough call which of the top two pulls it off. Maybe slight edge to Lotus?
I mentioned that some months ago. It seems people don't react positively to the series and it was constantly underperforming terribly at guilds. At the end not only Garner was nominated but also Inventing Anna in Limited Series
At least this time, people didn't predict it a lot, but yeah... David Simon is pure kryptonite at the Emmys.

Does anyone know when they will likely release the names of the producer's nominated for drama/comedy/limited series?
