Of the Atlanta contenders, I think Bartha was the best/had the most substantial material to work with. I think he happens, assuming the SNL namechecks don't hog all possible spots.

I’ve seen this season of WWDITS, I have absolutely no recollection of Taika appearing.

Iirc this was literally a 10 or 20 seconds cameo of him appearing on the tape that Nadja was watching about the Vampiric Council stuff.

Hopefully not dominated by SNL this time but I do hope Jerrod makes it!

Only Murders in the Building has potential to get in Lane and maybe Caverly

It'd be weird to see James Caverly as a nominee here. His role & performance have zero comedic elements, and it's like not an overly standout performance either. I wonder why didn't they submit someone like Michael Cyril Creighton as the "Cat Guy" instead?

I agree, both were excellent and would be very deserving nominees (or even winners!)

Yes, Lane and Caverly were great! I think I may have preferred them to the three leads.

Wes Studi feels like someone who could surprise. Great role, legendary actor, perfect positioning on the ballot.

Barry is far more a drama than a comedy to me. However as long as it is still in the comedy section, in terms of performance it does not get much better than Robert Wisdom's work on Barry.

When it comes to guest performances on Reservation Dogs, I would go with Gary Farmer.

Did they not submit the guy from Barry who was spewing out advice in his shop?

    Final Predictions
    1. Jason Sudeikis, Saturday Night Live
    2. John Mulaney, Saturday Night Live
    3. Nathan Lane, Only Murders in the Building
    4. Kieran Culkin, Saturday Night Live
    5. Sam Richardson, Ted Lasso
    6. Will Forte, Saturday Night Live

Pretty confident in my top four here (as confident as you can be in the guest categories which seem to be the most prone to namechecking). Richardson almost feels like too easy of a nomination, but he had a fun role in the reigning Comedy winner and he seems to be slowly rising in the industry so now feels like the time to nominate him. Went with Forte with the last spot because everyone seems to predicting Jerrod, but it's always the out of left field SNL nomination they go with (usually the bigger names).
