I love the album, but Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix should’ve lost to It’s Blitz!, handily. The fact that the Yeah Yeah Yeahs have never won a Grammy is so dark-sided.

    Pull through, Taylor!

Yes, Yeah Yeah Yeahs should have won that Grammy but Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix still stands above these mediocrities. And Grizzly Bear wasn't even nominated!

The fact that Fearless was the best album of the AOTY and deservedly won of the five in contention doesn't mean it's not still mid.

The true tragedy of this year.

The Album of the Year category specifically stands to be one of the absolute worst of the 2000s.

I think this also may have been the year of Merriwether Post Pavilion so yeah... the Grammy slate was really wanting.

Shame on whoever cast the deciding vote.

Taylor winning over Phoenix is a joke.

That Maxwell album is so great. Still perplexing it didn't make the final five for AOTY considering how acclaimed and generally Grammy friendly it was.

    NYFCC WINNER

I also don't know who had the deciding vote, I thought it was gonna be a tie too.

Black Eyed Peas were making music for the future and 13 years later you all still voted for the blandest album. Sad!

I listened to it for the first time today! I really enjoyed it too. Swift winning this poll over that and Phoenix is too much.

They were just riding the electropop wave of the time, lol. There's nothing really groundbreaking about it

Yeah, if that was supposed to be "music for the future", then bring on armageddon.

Honestly, the album is trash but the songs are pretty fun/funny. It's no stellar work of art or anything but you gotta bump something stupid at weddings and the singles from The E.N.D. are both bops and comedic trashsterpieces.

Oh, of course. Meet Me Halfway is a total bop.

The album’s overproduced as hell, but yes Meet Me Halfway is simply gorgeous. I friggin’ loved Fergie’s voice in particular.

Echoing the Meet Me Halfway love! Really should have had the success of I'mma Be.
