Because she’s incredibly miscast and isn’t good on the show!

It's for what I stated honestly. Granted Culkin's showiness can benefit him too so neither should be counted out, but aside from moments, Kendall is having all the discussion and sympathy surrounding him as I said so it could help imo.

I do think this site underplays Strong a bit though, sure he didn't have much showy moments this season but his performance was never really totally loud in the first place imo. I do remember GD thinking Cox having the showy moment in Hunting would help him win over Strong (though I think Strong eventually lead odds anyways).

Having a character that's heavily rooted for can help, hence Macfadyen's win in S3 or Garner and Dinklage etc getting more Emmys than they deserved.

I was thinking this as well. Not about industry statuses but Corrin was showier and had more buzz/rootability on paper.

I am feeling like a vote split is likelier to happen than I did in the middle of the season though, but I want to watch TLOU (even though I am very familiar with the game) before giving input. I don't necessarily feel like there's a clear consensus with either Culkin and Strong, especially since Strong has been gaining sone steam after the finale.

Twitter is filled with Kendall stans who post fan cams all day so of course there’s gonna be sympathy for him there

I don’t think an average voter watches the finale, thinks “oh, poor Kendall,” and then votes for Strong just because his character ended where he did.

I’m still leaning towards Culkin. He had stronger material all season and was consistently better than Strong. He’s also really campaigning for it.

Strong will still have his supporters though — he is a previous winner, but he also hasn’t gone head to head with Culkin yet.

It's not even just Twitter though, other places like Reddit have sympathized with him as well, even a lot of the ones that started to like him less and less as the season went on.

Huge to have Reddit’s stamp of approval, of all places lol.

Sympathy goes a long way and that could work in Strong's favor

The trying so hard to dismiss what I'm saying. That's literally the most used place to discuss shows, it counts.

Exactly. It helped with Rue, it helped with Ruth, Tyrion had a ton of rootability, hell even Kendall against Logan. That's the reason why these cold female characters usually fail to win, bar Anna Gunn with tapes (and Snook who is pending).

And no I'm not saying this means Strong is locked or anything or that's the sole reason anyone wins, but it's worth mentioning.
