Supporting actress is too strong for coattail wins. The BCS stans won't like it, but perhaps if her only competition was Seehorn (as both missed for previous seasons).

Also, Coolidge is a very obvious pick. They can nominated 6 TWL actresses in that category for all I care and it wouldn't matter.

I don't watch the show, but I highly doubt she has better material then a few of the other contenders. Seems to me more that people really like her (as a person) and we already have that narrative (x10) here.

And if that were to happen then obviously the show is coming for a complete sweep.

IMO, her emotional scenes with Culkin this season were better than anything her competitors delivered - and I say that as a comedic performance stan.

To be fair (and I agree with you) that's because Smith Cameron it's a true supporting role and Seehorn (and Coolidge for that better) it's a leading role. So of course Seehorn (and Coolidge) have the bigger role, therefore the bigger performance.
