Seem like we don't know the actual parts of some of these guys on the list.

I think Brendan Gleeson (Banshee) and Harry Lloyd (The Lost King) would be more interesting predictions, sight unseen.

Gleeson is a respected character actor reuniting with McDonagh and Farrell in a seemingly actor-based production, that comes across as very Irish and personal.

Lloyd is playing Richard III in a contemporary Stephen Frears film from the Philomena team. Frears has a long history of getting his leading ladies nominated, and usually name brands who have been nominated before (outside of Michelle Pfeiffer and Annette Bening, early on in Frears' career). Still Lloyd seems like a fun guess, and should be considered in the list (even though he probably won't get any votes!) .

I can see a lot of the top-vote getters not panning out in the end, only because of the limited information right now, outside of Ke Huy Quan.
