LaBeouf does not seem to have done anything to offer actual contrition or restorative justice and so while I suppose I am willing to change my view on him in the future, as of now I think it is inappropriate to cast him in a film. It is awfully rich of you to suggest our evaluation of his casting in lacking in nuance when you just attempted to erase the very large area between wishing for capital punishment and believing a credibly accused abuser should not be holding a tremendously high paying and public facing job.
