This is all based on that Prod Weekly listing which I have doubts about the accuracy of. It doesn't even state Oscar's replacement.
not sure how zendaya can go “back and forth” from one massive, months long shoot where she is a lead to another. but then again it’s cinema solace which is basically a random person with a twitter lol

Yes. Prod Weekly said July 18 I think. Again not sure about the accuracy of their listings. There's no way this can start filming in September and Zendaya still be in it. So I'm confused. The twitter sources saying she's confirmed to be in it are based it on the prod weekly listing I think.

No the prod weekly listing for Dune weirdly enough did not say how long filming would last. (At least the one that was posted on twitter , I don't have an account there lol) Just that it started July 18. I'm assuming at the very least a 4 month shoot though. Megalopolis is allegedly filming from September 12 - Feb 1
I read that if it’s does start in sept it goes till feb, so I guess when dune wraps she could go film on the coppola film but would that mean she’s a lead and more of a smaller supporting part? i can’t imagine she wouldn’t be existed after dune but hey she’s young and got energy so now is the time I guess
I think Dune 1 was like a 5 month shoot? I can’t imagine this would be shorter, maybe even longer, since this part is where all the “fun stuff” happens
I think they can finish her part in 2-3 months of shooting.

Yeah I've always been skeptical of the film happening in general. Again how accurate is prod weekly? Do they just put stuff down based on rumors?? It looks pretty official which is why I guess some twitter accounts are running with it lol.
I can't see Dennis basing the whole production of the film on Zendaya's schedules lol. Especially since she was signed on to Dune first lol.
if she’s a lead idk how they will finish her part in 2 months. she might wrap earlier than say timmy but for instance she’s filming for 2 months on Challengers and that’s a mid budget tennis drama and Luca generally works fast. Dune is a whole other animal in terms of production

She was never confirmed in the first place. I don't know what stan twitter account discovered Production Weekly and decided to use it as an official source, like, the production info is likely accurate but they always take the cast list from trades and rumors.

I'm a bit confused if her publicist told them she 100% wasn't in it, or that her casting was not confirmed.
Anyway I'm honestly just going to wait until they announce the official casting (if they do officially announce a cast) because as far as we know the whole original cast that was in talks for the film has been scrapped.
Also I do have doubts that they will ACTUALLY start shooting in September lol. That seems pretty close to now for a movie with no funding lol.

Production Weekly is a very legit trade publication. Like, you have to pay/subscribe for their content. But it does seem that nobody has up-to-date casting info on this, though.
