Tbh I don't really have any problems with any of the cast, even if some of the initial rumors were more exciting. I'm just glad this thing seems to be actually on track to being made!

If Pfeiffer isn’t in it, I hope that means she has something more exciting in the pipeline that clashes with the shooting of this one
Yay for Sarandon if true, although it's a bummer if Lange is no longer a part of this, she could use that exposure more than Pfeiffer right now.
idk deux moi isn't that accurate. At one point they were saying Harry Styles, Robert Pattinson and Tom Holland were up for a role in Dune. They also randomly announced some film with Jason Momoa and Zendaya that doesn't exist.
Is Morgan Freeman supposed to be taking over Forrest Whitaker's role?
Helen Mirren? Seriously?
Gimme someone more exciting like Lange or Pfeiffer
Someone who knows what this film is about. Please explain! Are these supposed to be cast members in ADDITION to the already speculated cast?
"as the studio has decided to announce the mega cast..."
Did I miss anyone picking this up? I thought he had trouble finding a distributor/financier and the trades would have certainly reported on that.
I want Bale in the lead role.
Driver is great, but enough is enough. He's too overexposed.
I don't want Bale or Driver. Both are very overrated. The better choice would be Andrew Garfield![]()
I'm in doubt right now. Is Adam Driver set to play the architect or the politician?
Helen Mirren - the kiss of death to quality
"Birdwatching in Late Autumn" (2021)
Hopefully not Adam Driver. I really don’t get the hype on him. I could actually see Leo Dicaprio in this role, but they will have to go with a much older actress. I may be wrong but I don’t think Zendaya is attached to this. I would like to see Gugu Mbatha Raw for this role if they decide to go with someone a bit older than Zendaya.
"Laws change. Social systems crumble. Universal truths are constant. It is a fact, it is a plain fact that what is true and right is true and right for all. Black and white alike." -- Samuel Bass, 12 Years a Slave
”If you prick us, do we not bleed? If you tickle us, do we not laugh? If you poison us, do we not die ? And if you wrong us, shall we not revenge? ” ~ William Shakespeare The Merchant of Venice.
After Annette, Driver has proven himself leaps and bounds ahead of his peer group so I hope it's true. Although considering the source...we'll see I guess.
