So, I updated the first post, with the ranking of Season 7 (plus the previous rankings too).


Who's in for Season 8? Theme: Classic painters before the 19th century. Why "before the 19th century"? Because the last time I wanted to do a classic season (Season 5) y'all ended up picking 19th century painters, so I changed that season to be exclusively about 19th century, and we're owed a true classic, oldie season.

In case people are lost, there are countless, COUNTLESS huge painters unused! Raffaello Sanzio, Michelangelo, El Greco, Zurbarán, the Flemish Renaissance painters, Tiziano, Tintoretto, De Lorena, Watteau, Fragonard... I mean, the list is endless, from Medieval painters to Renaissance, to Baroque, to Rococó, the British landscapists, the Dutch portraitists... There are hundreds, we can have many Classic Seasons yet!

Oh, and the season would run probably in November. Certainly closer to the end of the year than to the beginning of the last quarter.

Of course I actually have another one who has the style I prefer, but I won't name him yet until I'm sure. His paintings will be difficult to attract votes, but I love the challenge
