So, I'm gonna give @Cutie until the end of this week to appear and confirm their participation. If they don't confirm, then both @Peppin and @DameOctaviaSpencer can step in, if they want to. Hell, scratch that, they can step in if they want to, and if Cutie appears then we'll be 13 players instead of 12 and that's it.

I second ladylurks' recommendations, and add BRETT AMORY, MICHAËL BORREMANS, BELKIS AYÓN or FRED INGRAMS.

Also, people may not have realised that post-1950 means... All the pop artists are eligible! Yeah, Warhol, Lichtenstein, Kitaj, Rosenquist, Hockney... Granted, Wesselmann played horribly a few seasons ago, but that doesn't mean the more famous pop painters will have the same fate...
