All I’ll say is that Lucas Hedges has a fucking INCREDIBLE team.

Booking all these roles and films and prestige-heavy career moves. Like, it’s pretty epic. The guy had one Oscar nom in a film that was just super powerful in its given year and since then, he’s just had really great projects. I don’t think it’s working perfectly as it should for him and he’s definitely still finding his full path in his career and as an actor, and he hasn’t done anything as great as “Manchester by the Sea” but you’ve got to admit that he has been picking a lot of the right projects. And he doesn’t have to be everywhere all the time like Chalamet is either.

I hope he really gives a true standout performance sometime soon.

Yeah, that hampered a lot of my excitement; was hoping this would just be a dramatic adaptation, but oh well.

Me too, I was beginning to think he was considering quitting the whole acting thing. It's been a long sabbatical for him since "French Exit." Apparently, he has a part in a biopic, "Shirley" that has yet to be released if I'm not mistaken. I live a long way from New York and London, so Mike Faist is a new name for me. From what I've seen and read of him on the web, he's a promising and admired young performer. Well that makes two of them. "A play with music," hmmm...I wonder how that would be done. Makes me want to fly off to London to find out.
