Blunt Force
Pilots starring Hilary Swank, Gina Rodriguez and Niecy Nash picked up to series on ABC
I’ll watch the shows with Rodriguez and Swank!
Gina's show will likely be paired with Abbott Elementary so it's gonna be a twitter mess!!!!
I wonder where they'll put Hilary Swank's show, Monday with no more DWTS?
Niecy's show title The Rookie: Feds is quite funny and I might check it out if is really just a comedic procedural![]()

Not Dead Yet sounds ok but derivative of some of the other talk to dead people shows over the years
A missing persons case of the week with movie star turned TV female lead seems like idea out of mid 2000s, which I appreciate, but I'm still not gonna watch

Oof. Talk about a tired concept.
Blunt Force
After reliving the Gilbert Gottfried clip when he died I wish they brought back Hollywood Squares instead of Celebrity Jeopardy or Celebrity Wheel of Fortune
ABC getting its own Ghosts
Abbott Elementary getting the Modern Family slot, whew!
Losing DWTS might not be a big loss since Bachelor in Paradise should do as well if not better
BIP being on for 4 hours a week is really going to test my mental fortitude.
ABC Mondays will have football in the fall although not weekly, so BIP Monday won't be that much so basically filler when there is no football scheduled.

These network upfronts are so boring. Fox not even releasing a schedule and the other networks only having marginal shuffling of their lineups, and they all only produce a tiny fraction of the number of pilots they used to develop.
They used to be fun![]()
^ Agreed this pilot season was so dull, I love guessing which pilot gets picked up but this year just 2-3 pilots per network for fall consideration while the rest are off cycle. And also the upfronts lately are about the whole company now, not just the broadcast networks. And those corporations are all about streaming. I mean ABC aside from Grey's and Abbott spotlight was just a footnote on Disney's Upfronts as it was all about streaming. Ditto Universal focusing on selling Peacock and NBC not even bothering releasing trailers/teasers for new shows.
As for FOX not releasing a schedule, well they only got to finalize the deal of 9-1-1 DURING their upfronts and still negotiating lower cost straight-to-series shows so they really couldn't pencil a schedule for sure. They are in their bargain bin era
i'm kinda interested with CW, will they announce the sale of the network?
