OMG! Phantasm has never been released on Blu-ray and it's previous DVD releases were very archaic, for sure. The DVD I have is not even in widescreen. I am thrilled!!

Unfortunately, the release of Phantasm V has been delayed because of this restoration. I love the original film, but I have more anticipation for another chapter to the story.


Some years back I found a used copy of a German boxed set of all four films, and it has all kinds of cool shit, including a longer workprint of Phantasm 2.
