I forgot to mention that last week I listened to this!
It's, indeed, gorgeous and moving and a masterpiece. I'd still rank it below symphonies 9, 3, 2 and 6... Maybe 5 too, I'm not sure. But I've only listened to it twice, so I can see it climbing on the ranking. Many thanks for the recommendation, illiterate me didn't know anything about it until you mentioned it. @t_w_ste
